Control-plane SDK

Shared foundations for control planes.

The library behind Hermes Agent Stack separates reusable control-plane mechanisms from the product built around them. Compose state comparison, protected persistence and local Docker operations while keeping application policy and the interface in your own product.

In development

Who it's for.

For developers building a local operations product who need shared mechanisms for managing desired state, inspecting real resources and coordinating changes. It is a library for building a product, rather than an application to install and use on its own.

Inside Control-plane SDK

What you can do.

Compare state clearly.

Work with desired configuration, observed resources and a saved baseline to identify proposed and manual changes.

Protect shared state.

Coordinate operations and use protected persistence, scoped locks, state repositories and validated backup readers.

Compose the product boundary.

Use separate core, persistence, Docker, host and browser entry points without taking on a product's UI or stack definition.

What to know.

  • Product settings, confirmation, recovery policy and the user interface belong to the consuming application.
  • The toolkit does not provide automatic rollback, cross-system transactions or fleet management. Bun on Linux is the verified runtime.
